Hot Dip Galvanising - Def90 Chasis

Hi All !!
Thought of sending my Def90 (once it is completely dismantled n refurbished) rusty chasis for hot dip galvanising.
Do i need to weld some kind of 'bracing'/tie in between chasis to prevent it from bending (possible?) during the galvanising process ?
Any other things that i need to be aware of ??

you dont need to clean any rust off, as long as its in good solid condition it will be ok.

All you need to do is drill a 8mm hole in any closed box section. Drill about 12mm from any weld point and drill both ends(so you end up with 2  holes per closed section).

This must be done to stop any closed box section from splitting, also its helps with the venting  so the galve get to the internal parts.

i woulndt recomend that unless the galv company ask you to do it.

i prefere to attach several tags stating that the frame has not been drilled for galving, that way its the becomes the responsibilty of the galv company to check it. and if there were to be an explosion its not your fault.

With stuff we have galved at work they wont touch it unless any closed box section is "vented".

I have seen what  "closed box sections" does when it been galved, Splits or explodes.

Thanxs for all the advises !!!
Totally forgotten about the drain hole, will definitely do it.
I think all 'loose' rust need to be knocked off, grind using cup brush etc., sometime they do not want to accept it.
What i'll do next is to show some photos to the galvanising company, and seek their further advice.

the galvanizers we use in work will accept rusty material, but will charge you an arm and a leg to shotblast it before they acid bathe it......so if you know a firm or local guy it might be worth getting it shot blasted before you send it up for galving......and the bit about the drain holes is right too lol

i've got water jet spray that can shoot all rusts until bare metal.
