Article says that the rather nice looking "Strange Rover" is a Disco with an RR front end.

Looking at the rear 3/4 panel, and come to think of it the doors and just about everything else, is it not a Range Rover with a Disco roof bolted on?

Cheers!

I saw one of these 'strange rovers' advertised for sale in LR owner international the other month, article said it was a 1976 but was made into a strange rover by a company in this country and only a limited number were built, I haven't got the mag to hand so I can't fully quote it, can't see why someone would bother though :?

Wasnt that the way LR did prototype for disco, well, with a disco rear door.

imitation being the highest form of praise and all that.

next door neighbour had a Range rover - with disco roof and rear door..basically all RRC apart from behind the rear doors back - even altered the body line so it matched the RRC..reg was E *** WOK. (think thats a replacement plate)
