So listeners of the Jeremy Vine show voted 4x4s off the road.

Should we vote Jeremy Vine off the airwaves?

It was an inevitable conclusion that 4X4s would "win" this stupid ballot.
I agree with it in principal, let's get all those school run mums off the road in their Chelsea Tractors and the general public would then see what 4x4s are really all about... those muddy things that give us all so much pleasure as well as are used in emergencies to save lives.

Jeremy Vine's thoughts on the subject are as bad as his brother's singing !
TD5 ... Disco Classic Country (Oz import)

What credit crunch ? I started with nothing and still have most of it left !

This will probably be forgotten about come Monday! There are a few Radio 2 presenters who own or are into 4x4s so suspect this is nothing more than the ignorant having their say again. Problem is we get lumped together with the Chelsea Tractors - in my view two different things.

Dear Mr Payne

This is an update to let you know that we are dealing with your recent complaint
but are waiting to clarify some points with other colleagues in the BBC before
we reply more fully to you.

We will of course respond as soon as possible but trust you will understand that
the time taken can also depend on the nature and number of the other complaints
we are currently investigating. The BBC also issues public responses to issues
which prompt large numbers of significant complaints and these can be read on
our website at www.bbc.co.uk/complaints.

We would like to reassure you that your complaint has already been logged and
circulated in our daily report to BBC managers. We would therefore be grateful
if you would not reply to this email and, in the meantime, would like to thank
you for contacting the BBC with details of your concerns.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Wheeler

Proper reply to my complaint being awaited....

Pretty disgraceful that the BBC have nothing else better to waste money on than trying to turn road users against each other.

BBC = British Bullshit Company.
