Quote from: "Littledan"Quote from: "Thrasher"er...the logo thing extends to digital media......im english please neil should i send land rover managedment a email?? to see if we can use it?Land Rover since they were bought out by BMW (and subsequently ford) have been *very* picky about use of the Land Rover logo, especially when it comes to reproducing it, so if you were going to use it then I would definately advise that you check with their legal department, being as specific as you can about intended use. Note that if the word profit enters the conversation they will probably say no (even if it doesn't there's a fair chance)Neil's comment about "digital media" is that the LR oval is a trade mark and a copyright, which means that using it in your logo even on the big wide interweb (i.e. a digital media) is legally dubious, i.e. technically illegal under exactly the same laws that prevent you from reproducing it in print.I haven't heard of them objecting to any individuals using it in an avatar or a signature, but they might well view a club / forum / organisation under a different light.

.tk is somewhere you can have a free domain Dan so in effect you could have www.landroverpeople.tk click the link and see :D although the price of buying a domain these days is relatively cheap anyway www.landroverpeople.co.uk is available for £2.59 a year so its down to what you want to do with your club really
I found this one which is £5.00 for two years: http://www.telivo.com/domain-names.htmlOr just Google "domain names" and start searching.
