poly bushes (AGAIN)
« on: March 14, 2007, 07:48:20 »
Hello fellow skinned knuckle persons.........help me out if you can please..................i'm fitting the orange deflex polybush kit to my 110 and things are going ok (but damn they are hard to squeeze up to get them to fit......now the problem i have is this...........i ordered the defender polybush kit and the box said 90/110 on it so all good i thought....but......the info leaflet was for a rangie....no problem it must be a generic leaflet as they are much of a muchness....now ive completed the back end i think and am going to start on the front end but theres one bag of bushes i cant work out what they are for......its the bag of 12 small ones i think they are part number 552818P where the heck do they go??? i initially thought they were for the lower (to axle) connection on the shocks but they seem too small for that then i thought maybe the top of the shocks have 3 in (the two tapered one and the ones i'm talking about but the hole isn't big enough to fit the steel bush......i've tried typing the number into britpart part finder to no avail, so its over to you helpful chaps and chapesses!!!

cheers in advance

PS if i havnt made any sense dont worry cos i've confuddled myself!!!

isn't it 4 for each shock, 2x top and bottom and the other 4 will be for the steering damper?
