Southerm Electric AGAIN
« on: March 16, 2007, 09:42:55 »
I have had no sleep as I spent the nigh listening to a bobcat and a petrol disc cutter till got knows when.

The incomming main to the estate has failed again (5 times in 18 months now) and there were here till about 3am at the earliest fixing the damm thing. We go through this roughly every 3 months, why dont they just replace the damn cable, its the same section every time.

Can someone shed some light on this lunacy?

Time before this we spent a week running off a gennie.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

It's probably sub-contracted to the cheapest outfit (that oay road tac at least  ) and the susbsequent reapors will be under some sort of warranty/penalty clause.

It's all down to bean-counters

I've had my 'phone line 'repaired' about 8 times in 2 years.
