As above RUST!! boot floor inner wings rear arches and notchy gearbox
Rear chassis legs near rear lashing eye/towbar mounting points. Basically the chassis has a dip there and the drainage hole blocks with mud, so the water lies there and rots the chassi from the inside out. Just fitted a tow bar and while undoing the bolt that was holding the lashing eye on the chassis developed a large hole.
Also inner sills and rear tub round the body mount. In fact check all the body mounts and seatbelt mounting points. Lift the plastic strip that covers the gap between the body and the rear bumper it will lift enough to check for rot. on the rear body. Check headlamp adjusters (orange knobs) haven't been siliconed in place (sign they've been knocked out of alignment or rotted.
Power steering boxes leak (£85 + old unit) to replace.
Knocks and clunks when pulling away/ slowing down. could be UJ's, A frame bush (both Cheap) or Gearbox input shaft (New Gearbox Very EXPENSIVE)
Electric windows dropping/jamming (easy repair but a good bargaining lever)
Sunroofs leak if fitted.
