Indicators won't self cancel...
« on: March 20, 2007, 18:43:59 »
Anyone know what this normally is caused by before I rip the steering column cowl apart?

Be nice to have the new parts ready to install (as I did with my broken gear lever bias spring when the gearstick was sat in neutral between 1-2 instead of 3-4)

Thanks in advance!

i just sorted this out on my 300tdi,

there was a pice of plastic that had snaped off the steering wheel, so have drilled and taped the the inside of the wheel and put a bolt in to take its place. and it works.

i need to take it off again as i have put the wheel on wonky so will take a pic, watch this space!

its a m6 bolt, iv also taken a pic of what it all looks like with no wheel on. the hardest part is getting the horn out of the wheel.
