Does anyone know anything about TRIANG toys? I know  a few people are into collection...just that we have an old TRIANG car and need to know a little more about it - OH and its boxed too.. will throw pic up later..
pps its also battery powered, and about 1950's -early 60's

Only a ltittle, british manufacturer, went out of business IIRC and might have got merged/bought with something like Airfix or Hornby but don't quote me.

Tri-ang became Tri-ang Hornby in the mid 60s. Tri-ang had the original 2 rail set up on their railways whilst Hornby used the unrealistic 3 rail system.

I suspect what you have is a Tri-ang Minic Motorway car which was a system developed to go with the Railways

No its a lot bigger than that - I will make sure ipost a pictuer later.. got me wondering as something similar sold for over £500  :shock: ...Its a Rolls Royce - battery powered and around 8" long...I'll opst pic ASAP.

Right have just dug it out from its resting place its a TRI ANG MINIC ELECTRIC series Rolls Royce..small ammount of box damage - and the battery cover sems to be missing too...rear bumper is broken but we do have the missing piece...




so where do I start finding out a value??
Most places only list the smaller minic cars (about scalextric size)..never seen another one of these!!

Without paying out money I haven't a clue Try finding a antique toy dealer or auction house - any you find on line all want you to pay them before giving out information :evil:
