'LRO' Show on TV

The promised screenings (in 'LRO') of the show at Peterborough have begun.
It was on earlier this evening on 'Men & Motors' (SKY 139) between 21:00 & 22:00, apologies for not posting sooner, but I didn't know it was being broadcast until about 20:55.
It wasn't bad, presented by Jerry Thurston ('Salvage Squad' & 'Old Glory' magazine) it didn't go too in-depth for the casual viewer & might have held their interest.
Plenty of nice Landies shown, including the Cuthbertson at Gaydon, the 6d-door P38A as used in 'The World Is Not Enough' (or was it 'Goldeneye'?)
First repeat is tomorrow at 16:00 ('till 17:00), so tell the kids they can't watch Pokemen(or whatever they're called ) & set the video.
It's on 'Men & Motors' again.
Don't forget 'What The Industrial Revolution Did For Us' on BBC2 in the evening as well, that should be equally interesting

(that's a proper cartoon series, in glorious' Dark-Deco')
www.darkknight.ca
(click on links. Barbera Gordon & Selina Kyle)
If people you know think we're all 'saddoes' discussing Land Rovers direct them towards;

Some good stuff on there as well (JLA, Thor, Captain America)

Dark?
Pah... you don't know what dark is mate :)
Semi Interesting Anecdote number #3 (i.e. not interesting at all)
Whilst assisting on the layout of a comp safari myself and Mr Susan Stuart found ourselves alone, in a field in Perth, quite some distance away from a lot of places as it began to get dark.
we were accosted by two locals, wondering what we were doing, we explained and were duly invited back for a cup of coffee and a warm up. Since the frost was readily forming upon my beard and Ian's rather befurred bonce we accepted.
It wasn't until the return walk that both myself and Ian spotted our moderate faux pas, neither of us had a torch.
It was dark, overcast and miles away from street lights / other light pollution. We soon found ourselves doing what could be called "stumbling" as neither of us could see anything. I knew Ian was there, somewhere in the black... but it was a little hard to tell exactly where. Since you litterally couldn't see your hand infront of your face (not the outline or anything)...
I don't know if you've ever tried to find your way back to a campsite using a backlit mobile phone and an indego illuminating watch, but it's quite fun :)

Taped it.
A couple of MK4x4 Members were on there, Blue 109 going around the arena, and Orange Series 1 Hybrid getting an award for best modified (2nd place) also in the arena.

I'm sure I spotted Piglet in the background of one of the shots of some series' driving past, about ten minutes into the show.
Thought it was quite a reasonable programme, have set a reminder on wife's phone for this afternoon for the kids to watch it - knowing them they will be more interested in that than the cartoons anyway!

Re-watched it again last evening, but didn't see Piglet, rewound the tape a couple of times to be sure (sad or what!).
