Can any one out there tell me the weight of a 200TDi engine. As it comes out of vehicle, with starter, alternator, clutch and manafolds fitted. Need to collect one, for my Disco. I'm wondering if my slighty rusted boot floor will carry it home.

The rear floor should take it, I've had at least a ton in the back of mine before and the rear floor is pretty rusty now (bout to be replaced).

put a piece of plyboard in the boot, will help spread the weight and make it easier to slide engine in and out
