I found it hilarious. Nice bit of cheating by "driving god" Hammond.
It would certainly make the school run alot more interesting for 1000s of parents knowing that they've got their own racing series.

Yep, it looked fun.
Almost as funny as Clarkson trying to beat 10minutes around the Nurburgring.
The young lady (Sabine Schmitz) is an instructor at the 'ring' & a 'Taxi Driver' there.
http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/taxi.html
http://www.sabine-schmitz-motorsport.de/
I seem to recall from somewhere that she also does development work for Porch there as well.
Thetaxi she uses is a B*W M5, which has new tyres every 10laps! & new brake pads after 20!!
Think that shows how tough it is & how fast she is.
After all she beat Clarkson by 47seconds! - in a car she hadn't driven before (if it's to be believed!)

I can believe it.
She did admit to having done nearly 15000 laps.

Yep, both the MPV and 'Ring articles were excellent. The look on Richards face in the Espace was priceless!
When we were in Luxembourg at an MG event many years ago, we intended to drive up to the 'ring but never got the time. It is something I really regret. And watching that makes me even more regretful :( Used to race a highly modded MG Midget that would have been 'quite useful' around there. With 210bhp per ton and well sorted handling, it was always a real hoot to drive on the road. I still have it in my garage gradually dissapearing under a pile of horse tack, but now needs a full rebuild....... one day.......
