Vitara fluid loss

Hi, would anyone have any idea why my vitara is losing brake fluid when theres no visible leaks anywhere in the system or dripping on the floor.
Its using half a litre a month and my only guess was that its getting into the servo and burned in the engine?? any ideas???

It can leak in there for ages and not show on the outside.

Half a litre of brake fluid is a large amount.  I doubt very much if it's getting back into the servo, if the seals have gone in there you'd have no brakes or you'd notice something...........

pop the rear drums off :)

Had exactly the same. Need to do my other side before that goes. Have fun getting new cylinders as theres about 3 types :S

Thats what I was thinking when it first started but had the drums off and theres no leaks, even peeled back the cylinder seals to check and there dry as a bone, same with front calipers..... really got me confused, its using loads of fluid but theres no sign of a leak or any fluid anywhere.
Maybe the fluid fairys are stealing it????????  :D  :shock:

1/2 Litre sounds a lot, there is a common fault with the rear brake compensators leaking.  If there's lots of gunky crap around it this would be a good place to start looking

yep i agree with above,

i had the same on my zuki,but like some have said,3 tyoes so take it off first and go with the part to save time :D
