is there an easy way to change handbrake cable?

I need to put a new cable on my RRC as it snapped a few weeks ago now. and were off to devon for the weekend. :)

so is there an easy way to change it as it dissapeares up behine the transfer box.?

In short, no it's a PITA.  I fitted a new one when I had the 'box out just so I wouoldn't have to do it again.

The direct entry one is much easier, but that's form Soft Dash onwards IIRC.

its very simple! take said reange rover to a local garage with handfull of lolly leave both items there, return in a couple of hours and thats it! all done. easy.

He can make you a winch bumper, rock sliders, lamp bar etc etc but can't be a***d to do a handbrake cable.

Tell you something about how fiddly a job it is :(
