My Discos MPG!
« on: April 10, 2007, 21:16:31 »
Evening folks. Bnloody good weekend, excellent weather and more booze than a brewery!

Did a trip from sevenoaks to southampton (eastley), boshed in £50 sheets and it did about 209 miles once i dropped off a couple of mates. I work it out to be about 18mpg!!    :D

I thought that was what i would get, but it could have been better...i was racing my mates boxter down the A31 for much of it!!!

It does like a drink does my disco...much as i do too!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

I got about 19.5 out of the TDi bringing the caravan back from Northumberland on Friday.  I see why it's called UP north!

It seemed to spend a bit of time in 3rd going up the hills, down to 2nd on one long uphill section (and let me know about it in no uncertain terms!) and I -er - wasn't hanging about on the A1.

First time out towing with this one, she towed like a dream, apart from the long uphills we hardly knew the van was there.

My 300TDi Auto returns 21-23 around town and 28 at a steady 65mph on the motorway.

It's a 1995, 54,000 mile, well cared for, Jap import.

Any suggestions?
