what rear diff am i running if i am in a D reg 90 N/A

your replies get more and more helpful!
no its cos i got a rangie axle and need to see if i need to swop half shafts or the diff out...  but if its the same ratio diff then dont need to change anything :D

should be a 3.5:1 ratio diff as far as I know,  the halfshafts *might* be different number of splines on them, but from what I know the diffs themselves are only different on the series motors,  even they you can swap them over, just make sure you do both at once :)

i know i know ;) i did notice it on your msn name though earlier :) was tryin to find out what diff it is for ya but i can NEVER seem to find out :? going disc braked then eh? :)

rangie axles up to about 93/94 are 10 spline

post 94 are 24 spline

That's what i always thought Mike, but someone confused me recently saying that the later Hard dash models with ABS had 24 spline axles.  Can't take my spares car apart at the moment as it's parked on a banking.
