It's only April and it's glorious out, isn't it? Went for a walk this morning and took a few pictures:

No, I'm in the office looking at the lovely day through the windows.
Somebody elses project has created a big mess and as they're on holiday muggins 'ere has had to come in to sort it all out.  No doubt the sun will be going down by the time I get out.

Spent the morning at work (until 14:00)

Then after getting home, it was out on the bike for an hour in the blazing sun.
I need to make myself suffer a bit, so I was wearing a t-shirt, long-sleeve jersey, bib-shorts & thermal bib-tights

It was still better than being up the ladder yesterday afternoon painting stone lintels & window sills

Spent it up on Salisbury plain getting covered in dust :) The when it cooled off I got to give the zook a sponge bath, although I did pressure wash the doors. Love the feeling when its been a hot, sticky day and you get the mist off the jetwash blowing back at you.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I spent most of the weekend half in and half out of the Dakar swapping the driver's seat over. Grrrrr...

It's a Cobra seat and the bolts that hold the slide frame to the seat proper screw into a "threaded hole" that's an interference fit in the frame.  Repeatedly dropping (cough) 18 stone of me onto it seems to have loosened the fitting somewhat.

At least with the swap I can take my time to fix it properly.

We took the caravan to Selby and on to Northumberland just in time for the best of the weather.  I'd post piccys but we can't find the USB lead for the camera :x The dog had a great time.

Richo - I hope your dog will be OK.  That doesn't sound good.  Keep us posted.

No, it's a Cherry tree. The Hawthorn are in full bloom as you say.
The leaves are coming out on the Oak at the moment - way too early.
