I regularly just go out for a "quick ride" on my quad.  Nine times out of ten I end up being out all day going nowhere in particular.

Used to do that on the mountain bike.  Ended up in all sorts of places but never needed my passport.

I used to like driving just for the sake of it but now it cost so much and the roads are full of muppets.

I went out this morning for a bimble in the Disco and came back with the car full of fallen branches for the garden burner and two bags full of stinging nettles and wild garlic leaves for dinner.
Nice! :D

When I got the P38A I did a 150 mile round trip with a cup of coffee in Port Solent to break the journey.    I'd have probably done the same in the Disco, but we did a 800 mile round trip two weeks after I got it, so that got my used to it.

Isn't a carbon footprint what you get if you tread in the ashes of a campfire?
