Anybody in here runnning 35x12.5x15 Tyres, on a defender.

If so how much steering lock did you lose? What about suspension travel?
Also what wheels have you got them on, I'm planning on buying a set of Modulars to put them on.

I'm running a 2" lift on 110 defender, and want to fit 35" tyres if they don't foul anything.

If you are running them, any photo whould be appreciated.

I have 35" 12.5 on 16 inch rims, mach5 rims with 4" offset, which is 2" either side.
If you have Simexs they will catch the wheel archs, but will soon chew them away.
Nothing claws through mud like them.

I assume it's just the front Wheel Arches they catch. As this is a "new" vehicle, I would prefer not to chew the wheel arches  :?
Could this be avoided by adjusting the steering stops or would this limit the steering too much?

I was thinking Pirelli Mud, BFG or ProComp, As all these are supposed to be good off road tyres, and acceptable on road. I believe the Simexs can be abit iffy on road. But if you've found different I'm open to advise.
