Hi TechnoTurkey

I looked at the 90/110 section of the same club a couple of years ago and was put off by the politics, which is why I'm here  :D

I've recently acquired a series 3, and had fleeting thoughts about joining up with them again - your treatment has put me off.

Don't let it stop you publicising events that you're planning to go to on here - plenty of us here enjoy a good day out on a pay and play site.

Cheers (and welcome!)

joined them last year when I bought my series 3.

I wanted to do a weekend off roading last year with them - couldn't go cause I didn't have a caravan and the site they chose had no facilites. they suggested I bought a toilet tent. !

Then tried to go to the annual event at Hawkstone park (15 mins from my home), couldn't go for just the day to do off roading with them, had to camp for the whole weekend - needless to say I didn't go.

Needles to stay I havn't renewed my membership

Stick with Mudclub - much more friendly, hospitable and fun.

Hi Chaps,

Whilst I absolutely respect your rights to have and express your opinions, it should be pointed out that there are a lot of very satisfied members in the Series 3 club.

Personal differences and views about the running of a club will always surface, disgruntled members of other clubs will vote with their wallets, and that's the way it should be.

Mud-Club isn't about running down other clubs, one of the principles upon which the club was formed was to avoid exactly that sort of thing.

I don't want to geat heavy, since that's another principle that is important to the club.

Please Play nice :-)

For most of us it's why we're here.
No politics nor real arguments, just differences of opinion.

PS I'm a beardy brigade. Not that old though......
Well not nearly as old.......
Ok a little bit.

Unfortunately, it is a sign of the times. Most reasonable people would accept responsibility if they damaged their vehicle or themselves at a 'motorsport' event. If I was sat on a MC stand and Tim's BBQ'd sausage gave me food poisoning ( ) I would not even consider sueing him or MC. However, in this day and age, it seems I might be the exception rather than the rule.

It is, indeed, a sad world we live in when public liability insurance is needed for every action we take.

I accept that I will possibly never taste BBQ food as good as this again, and further accept the disappointment this may bring.
