Need advice please

Hi fellas...need some advice on the Jeep grand cherokee
My son is looking at one on the weekend and need to send him with some ammo :?
Are there any problems he should look for or ask about :?:
This one is a ltd auto 4ltr
I dont think he will get ins on it but he thinks different.

Also can any of you give me a rough idea of mpg hope someone can help........Jan Xx

IME as a mechanic they are not the most reliable vehicle around.  Genuine parts (suspension, brakes, etc) are bloody expensive (eg. over 100 quid for a track rod end), and pattern parts are not readily available .  They are also thirsty and have ugly road manners unless you do some fairly serious sorting out of the suspension.  My neighbour has one and he'll be selling it as soon as he can afford to buy somehting different.  I think your boy would be better off following his Mum into a Paj or buying a Disco.
