transporting a range rover desperate help please.

hi,

Im in desperate need to get a range rover from bristol to suffolk as my transport i had aranged now is having to work away so can't do it for me.

Does anyone one know of a transport company or someone who may do transportation.

unfortunatly its a trailer job as no front brakes or windowscreen, can be driven on trailer though.

preferbly this weekend, as the guy is moving to france, is the white range rover advertised on here by simon

borrow a trailer or rent one (about £25/day) and tow it carefully with your series...

the trailer isn't the problem, have 3 car trailers of our own on the farm,

its the towing is the prob,

one, my series is no more, well the chassis is sitting on top of our scrap pile and axles still in one bit, rangie has no front axle, and vovlo won't really pull it, and then there is fact of trailer license, i do round suffolk and at home but don't really fancy it on a long journey.

How much does it weigh? you might get away with hiring a tipper or beaver tail.

try a local recovery firm, we had our 101 delivered on the back of a lorry, cost us £1/mile though.

First Self Drive in Norwich have a 7.5 Merc Atego with a beaver tail to rent, 01603 624275 ask for Jon Mills, tell him Dave with the Vitara sent you  :wink:
