Would have loved me a few years ago, used to bring home an artic tractor unit at night for a while, it was being vandalised and was the safest place, used to pick up the kids with it, luckily no with the trailer on the back

I picked Lizzy up the other day and noticed they've put no waiting signs with times on them telling people not to park on the zig zags. Dunno if this is new but I've never seen any before.
It's about time something was done about people parking on the lines.
Although I bet it's just going to be a parking fine instead of some points.

I wish they'd check round the boys school :x

Seems it's  complusory to park on the yellow zig zags, or double yellow lines.
Having said that, you'd need reinforcement, with some of the parents wouldn't take too kindly to be told the error of their parking....

The worlds gone completely MAD. Round our way, all the mums drive these big Chrysler Voyagers, with the compulsory blacked out windows of course. I reckon this is only so they can hide the fact there's only one kid in the back. I remember a few years ago a certain Mr Blair bought one of these and there was uproar, not just for the fact it wasn't British but more for the fact it's one of the most un-economical vehicles to drive around town and therefore more poluting than anything else on the road in it's class. What is the world coming to if 4x4 drivers get singled out from everyone else. Surely the same arguement would hold up for banning all large vehicles from doing the school run etc etc not just one type. There's also a fashion round here for Mums to have Warrior double cab pick ups! WHAT  :?:

I'm lost. Can't understand it all. If 4x4 are a no go then so should half the other traffic on the road.

Give him a kick up the a**e with your Land Rover hiking boots and ask him if he wants the number of the one on your drive!

The ask him if the data he is taking will be stored in accordance with the data protection act!

Proberbly doing a survey to see how many 4x4s are used to take kids to that school. A bit naughty really he should be includeing cars as well that way the conclusion will be 80% cars/mpvs 20% 4x4s. I rest my case. Im sure thats clased as invasion of privacy, unless that person has physically asked the 4x4 owners permmision to do so...?
If in first you dont suceed, try second....
If it aint broke, your not trying ard enough....
