I have been given a Emac ......not knowing anything about them are thay any good

Can I connect to my wireless network???? which is PC based???

If it has airport then yes you can connect and file share with networks wether windows or mac based.

Macs are top notch, they dont crash as much as windows pc's, they are generally faster, but then you have to sacrafice on some software fronts.
