Steering box.
« on: May 12, 2007, 16:53:33 »
Hey all,
My 90 has quite a bit of play in the steering box, and was wondering if i can adjust it? It is a manual steering box, 4 bolt i think!
theres a bolt on the top so could i maybe adjust it?
Or shall i buy a new box? How abouts converting to power steering? Would everything off a disco fit? Where would the belt run off?
Kind Regards
Sam

is it the steering box ? or is it the drop arm ball joint worn ?
get some one turn the steering whilst you look for play in the steering components on the axle
as for adjusting wise, sorry dont no for manuel only pas  :?
