Came home today to find the wife doing the washing  and the washing machine making a banging noise
so i asked should it be doing that? knowing full well it shouldnt and SWMBO says" its been like that for a while not that you know you dont use it"
I replied " well its about to break if it carries on" and went back out to play with me landies
10 mins later she appears and says washing machine has died leaving a large hole in the drum and the engineer will be in weds to have a look
I fear a large repair bill coming

I had a feeling of dread when ours sprung a leak this morning, turned out that only the rubber door seal had split. Managed to get a new one locally for £11.95, but what an absolute pain in the bum to fit

ours started to rattle last week.  I dragged it out and tipped it up only to find the 3 bolts holding the concrete lump on the drum had sheared off so the lump was hanging loose

removed it and started using washer again.  it's going to vibrate itself to bits if i dont fix it soon.

When our washing machine had a paddy we went out and bought a new one, completely forgot about the 5 year extended warranty we took out!

Double check it as well, cos you can claim a certain ammount per day for washing you cant do while its not working :D, i.e. for using a launderette
