after the odd flicker now and then my speedo has packed up , sounds like a loose conection can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Check the connecting plug on the transfer box.

It's a 3 pin black connector on the back of the transfer box. Easy to see you you can remove your centre seat box panel. Also check connectors behind instrument pack. Easy to access, just remove 4 screws, 2 on side and 2 on bottom.

mine did a similar thing and it eventually gave up the ghost . turned out the feed to the sensor was rubbing and eventually wore through. fixed with two bullet connectors and some amalgamating tape. if all else fails i have a spare speedo you can check with. can bring to the next leicestershire meet if you need

got sat nav to use as speedo , as its company car not really my prob but would like to sort it withouth visit to main dealer (mega hassle )thanks for suggestions , guess wot ? it worked ok today :?
