Nottingham to Dudley ...how hard can the trip be?

easy trip. Sat nights are quite so its M6-A42-M42-M6-M5-A4123 ...simple

Except M42 closed J9-J6 so come off at J10 and head down the A5 going for Brownhills and cutting through to walsall.

Except detour on the A5 that sends you down the A38, no probs, jump on M6 at speghetti

Except theres been an accident and the A38 is closed in Birmingham, no probs, detour through a grid locked housing estate and onto the M6

Except The M6 northbound slip road is blocked,OK then, onto the 4040 and go through handsworth.

Except there are police and ambulances everywhere with mad coppers directing you every which way and I end up completley lost in north Birmingham.

Upshot TWO AND A HALF HOURS to get home

I wouldn't bother with a lottery ticket this week Bob.
What were you doing sneaking over here?
Getting across the border without a passport stamped. I don't know!

Ok I thought you might have been picking something up. An ebay item or something.

Just got back from Peterborough myself, turned into about a six hour round trip from Bromsgrove what with the fog and all that.

However, the reason for the trip was to pick up an ebay purchase with a mate, a nice 88" S3 for him to play with.
