currently pondering something like an Astravan or similar to run around in and save up for something a bit special in a couple of years.
as much as i love it, i`m doing more miles for work so its not the best for motorway cruising on a daily basis..
need a small van for firewood/mountain bikes/dog/smuggling assylum seekers/shopping at B&Q etc.
GOOD:
H/D springs (rears as new, front fitted last year) polybushed, timing belt just changed, new pads, just about to do rears, not bad for age, starts first turn every time, no bad smoke, no leeks, 3"double roll bar, 31" tyres (+spare set) lined tub, sports steering wheel (blame previous owner!) rear light guards, plenty tax & Test (just taxed for 12mths, MOT Jan) Looks great, turns heads.
BAD
Bodywork is starting to show the age, had a replacement sill for MOT this time, arches doing the usual hilux trick, although not too bad. thrust bearing a little loud, but clutch fine, and no point changing one without the other!
currently sorting: flasher relay bugered, rear cylinder also [!Expletive Deleted!]. should be done by next week.
