HD ready help please
« on: May 21, 2007, 14:45:44 »
i have got a 32 inch hitachi lcd widescreen tv connected to an xbox 360 using the HD composite cable supplied with the xbox, the display is very crisp and very detailed but the colours are wrong. i have played the game gears of war on mine and my mates xbox and mine looks green, the blood isnt red but green  :?. i have replaced the xbox and tried the different setting for the HD but still no change. all i can think is that it is down to the tv settings or worse the actuall tv.

any pointers/ help would be greatly appreciated at this time as it is now bugging me..

thx alot
ben (arightpests son)

all the colours looks the same as they should on normal tv. the xbox has one output to tele that has 6 leads at the end. i have connected them to the tv corresponding to the colours, i have got the setting on HD to as there is one for scart. if scart is used it only uses 3 connections out of the 6 leads are used where as the HD uses 5 if i am not mistaken.
the number on the back says its a 32lb8700tu and the make is hitachi .

cheers

Sounds most likely to be the cable to be honest, try the same cable on a different TV if you can.

P.S - sounds like you are using a component cable, not composite - can you confirm?
