right....oil leak....will be the rear crank seal been torn or grit got behind it due to being submerged with no wading pugalso if you had no plug in the timing case i strongly advise you to fit a new timing belt SHARPLY before it snapps, as water will have stretched it like mad :shock: the nocking....as said before and like ive asked before....did the engine hydraulic lock ? i.e injest water into the intake system...fill the intercooler ect ect and stop the engine ?if so....i would bet anything that youve got atleast 1 bent conrod :shock: dan

if it slowed and refused to rev then stop id say its injested water into the cylinders and locked itself, turbo wise, if waters got in there then the water would have been dispursing the oil, so another words oil starvation so did you have the pug in the bottom of the timing case ??theres a bolt that should go in just behind the crank pulleyif it was me id be removing the head, as its done more damage than you may think diesels and water dont mix when its injested as the compression just trashes the enginedan
retro fit another 200tdi lol, the one you have is completely f*cked. Hope that helps :D
