yo all my 110 handles like <edit> so i thort it may be the spings but they seem fine when i had a good look. second i think my shcks are on the way out as well it seems a bit wobling as it pops round corners. but the main prob it road vibration now would fitting new confort poly bushes make any diffrence what so ever as i dnt realy know what they do?

Don't agree

Polybush come in two colours

Red are for Road use with mild off-roading (gives a more comfort than standard, I believe as I have not tried them myself)
Green For heavy off-roading

Changed mine in a day, although my landy was only 3 years old myself

The colour is a purely pigment which is added to the polyurethane.

Polyurethene bushes can be made in black so they don't stand out like a sore thumb, which is more populare on 'classic cars'.


Genuine Polybush polyurethene bushes come in red (standard) and blue (comfort). The blue being made from a softer compound of polyurethene.

I have not done a direct comparrison, but the Ploybush blue/comfort seem to be just as soft as rubber bushes. I have the comforts fitted to the VM classic and have absolutly had no problems with them on or off road.


I've never seen a Green polyurethene bush,who make them?

There are a num,ber of companies making bushes from polyurethene and they all varry in design, material and pigment. Just because 2 bushes are the same colour doen't necisserily make them the same.

I would first check all the bushes to see if any in particulare have failed, replacing the odd rubber bush like for like is a lot cheaper than any set of poly bushes (let alone Polybushes).

If you want to improve the on road handling over standard then fitting normal red Polybushs would be more effective than the comfort/blue as they are stiffer than comforts making the handling more positive.

fit polybushes. they fit easy (after you get the old bushes out anyway)
Grease em with boat grease when you build em up, last for ages!
Then cheap and easy to replace.
Cant see any downsides to them. :?
Go on....cut me in half........it says SUZUKI all the way thru the middle!!

sorry, i hate them and will never use again

polybush's come in 3 pieces and arnt one piece like std bush's doesnt make no difference what colour they are they all made from the same stuff, just the compound is different

the grit and sand gets inbetween and grinds the bush's down, if you want proof, ill show you pics of my old bush's that were 5month old  :shock: ( need to find them 1st tho  :roll: )

been back on std bush's 12 month now and aint had replace one  :shock:

and ino many others who have done the same

and before you say i didnt pack them with grease or anything to prevent it, they were assembled with 2-4-C marine grease   :wink:

o and they were genuine polybush dynamic orange which are the offroad compound  :wink:

My advice - check what state your bushes are in.

If they're kapputt, fit standard metalastic bushes. They flex better than polys and are particularly life-compromised either.

A lot of the racing community are heading back to metalastic as in the race enviornment they last longer. A classic issue with polys is that they seem to promote wear in the bolts locating the bush and I've seen some very compormised bolts come off of polyed vehicles. If a bush fails, you handling goes to pot badly. If one of those bolts fails.........

Yes, I have polys, but I wouldn't fit 'em again. I can't see enough advantage in 'em to promote 'em either.

Don't forget to also check the joints on the a-frame and shock tops.

chears for backing me up Eeyore, at least some one else see's it my way aswel

people forget that some people have been there and done that and ar speaking from experiance  :roll:

just cos they easy to fit dont meen there good  :shock:

the only good place to fit a polybush is the panhard cos i eat them and its easy to change out in the field

now be my guest fit polybush's, it wont be my expensive front and rear radius arms that'll be wrecked  :wink:
