tyre pressures
« on: June 01, 2007, 12:11:56 »
Just changed from 750x16 to 205x16 AT.
Tyreman says I've put 30psi all round, cos your S3 88' is not on my chart.
Can anyone help with the correct pressures please.
Seems funny to me the professionals just guess!!

All but the County Station Wagons were sold with Crossply tyres and the handbooks recomendations are for those.

For 205's they say 25 front 35 rear for normal running droping to 15/25 for soft use.
Personly I run my 205 radials at 30 all round, seems slightly better than 25 all round was.  Radials bulge more than crossplys if you run them at lower presures.

I run my Michelin Radial XCL's at 25 psi all round. Seems to be OK.
