Do I need to fit arch extension??????
« on: June 06, 2007, 21:24:21 »
Just fitted 31x10.5r15 mud tyres on my disco, i trimmed the rear of the back arches in order to avoid rubbing, the tyre sticks out beyond arch aprox 1". Do i need to fit wheel arch extension & where do i stand with the law???
I would be grateful for your feedback.

bit of a quandry really. most extensions will look bad as they are going to be way wider....but you are falling foul of the law.
So either move the wheels in or fit arches and then space the wheels out...archs look cool aswell!!!

Fit the arches and don't write in red!

Look at my "inspiration" photo gallery - they all have the arches done.

As I understand it - tyres must not stick out past the bodywork.
