I love my V8 and on gas its not so expensive - there's no way I'd swap.

For me I think the power s about the same (?) but you have a choice - a car that sounds horrible (that would be the diesel) or one that suffers in water (unless you go out of your way to mod it).

I have n't done the real waterproofing yet but I'm a very contented bunny !!!!!

ive done very little mods to my V8 and water doersnt affect it at all, even after i steam cleaned it, it started first time on all cylinders 8)

no nerves at all now, not since i steam cleaned the engine.

i dont know if it makes a difference, but i fill all the terminals and multi plugs under the bonnet with battery terminal grease to stop corrotion.
