theres 3 ways to do this
fit a 4 pin diff
fit a ARB locker
Fit a salsbury

make it 4
Learn to drive

what shafts do you have?

Personally for the price of a 4 pin diff itself its not much dearer to go for an ARB,

A slasbury would requre shortening the prop & theres a 90% chance of getting a drum brake one as the disc ones go for good money

or the cheapest option off all is analyse where ur blowin the diffs, how ur blowin the diffs to then work out why ur blowin diffs

Redline "broken 2 shafts in 4 years" mike

Just taken it apart, the planet gears have broken and fallen out of the diff, and the ends of both shafts are twisted....

So, i'm pretty sure that mine is a metric axle, if i was to get a 24 spline diff, with matching shafts are they a striaght forward swap????

dont make no difference
your still gonna blow the center carrier of the 24spline diff   in  the exact same way as the 10  splines
2 much wheel spin or in the case of weekend, torque going through it one way

fit a arb locker, that'll cure  the poblem with it being a 4 pin

then for trials, simply dis-able the compressor    and when on pay'n'break days, connect the compressor up

MMm, well one of my mates just told me that the 24's are a bit stronger, the planet gears that is......

I can't stretch to an Arb... so another old diff it'l be then!!
with shafts!!

planet gears are same setup as the 10 splines, just more expensive when u bklow them

dont spin the wheels when u are cross axled as this is why ur blowin diffs

sorry but are they my back side
the shafts r stronger
but there is no difference in the diff units them selves, apart from the splines on the sun gears
they are mad and secured in the same way and will break in exactly the same way

only way to cure the problem is loosing the heavy right foot when the wheels r spinning

or fit a 4pin diff i.e a arb

but until you can afford, keep the revs down   ,and when winching keep the revs to a min, im just above tickover when winching
