I see Scorpion sell an adjustable panhard rod for a 2 inch lift. Needed or a luxury??

Well....  technically, you ought to extend the panhard rod slightly when you do a lift...  practically... I doubt most people would even notice the axle has moved.

Adjustable ?   Yes... if you want to sit down for a few minutes and calculate the new required length of the panhard rod, but then, you are unlikely to ever change it once it's set.  (Unless you start changing the configuration all over again)

If you are a suspension nerd, regularly change your setup, have a nice 3 or 5 link system and do plenty of rock crawling....  probably worth putting one on there ;-)

I have no doubt that we will all be convinced that it is the next "must have" thing though, so they will probably sell plenty.

Just my (cynical) 2p worth :-)

You weren't riding mountain bikes in the early nineties, were you?

at last we get to the bottom of the mystery! Now we know why 4x4's arouse such strong feelings of loathing and hatred from other user groups! Its not the ruts, smell or noies! Its the fact that we don't have enough lightweight shiny purple bits fitted!  :D
