this might sound like a daft question but does the plastic wing nut thing on the bottom unscrew or just pull out, the one to let water and crap out, ive used wd40 it now looks spottless :lol: but i cant get it off, even tried pliers :?

Unscrew - do it with a bit of rag ready to mop all the water and stuff that will run down your arm.
Be careful with it as a lot of people manage to snap it off too.
