Oooh, there's no call for that sort of behaviour.
When I lived in Swansea, the South Wales Evening Post were running a competition for the best display of Christmas lights.
Interestingly, the competition was sponsored by the electricity board.

well atleast you'll save electricity as you wont have to turn the lights on in your house, as you can use theres to light yours up! also they cant complain about the noise of the racer now, they're putting out more light pollution, than most of fife!

I reckon I've seen it as well.
I was going to drive around Whaddon with a load of lights on running from an inverter. It fell through when I couldn't make it.

here's a question... how many of the people who are trtying to ban 4x4's because they're inefficient and waste power needlessly cover their houses in dayglo nonsence and illuminated snowmen ?
surely that is more of a waste of power ?

Can't remeber exactly which Village it is, but somewere on the A428 between Northampton and Beford there are about 4 houses with MONSTER lights, maybe a pub aswell.
Very preety, but also very disorientating when your driving on an unlit road, then see a glow and hit a sereal amber with almost daylight intensity.
Bizzare stuff
