I have a 3 speed auto box in my RRC, I don't have a kick down due to it been attached to a 1990 efi unit, one is cable one is a fixed rod set up.
I have noticed when the car is cold the gearbox selector moves nice and easy, but once up to temp it is stiff to move, is there a transmition oil filter in the botton of the gearbox?
If so how easy are they to change and do you think this could cause the symtoms mentioned.
