Hi all, i have a 200tdi engine in a 300tdi body so the dash is a 300 type.
all things have married up apart from the temp sensor.
I have tested the needle and it works fine when you short it out however when you connect it up the needle seems to sit tighter on the needle stop like its going backwards!!!
I have looked into fiting a 300tdi sensor but without re tapping the water pump it will not fit.
I could go down the road of a aux sensor and dial mounted on the dash but feel its a shame when every thing works.
Oh i have replaced the sender last week as well!! i changed it like for like which was a orange one.
