Help needed! me and the wife have the first week in August booked off and fancy a dirty (that’s muddy) week away in the Fourtrak, some ware preferably in Wales, anyone know a nice little self catering cottage to stay in?  That’s off the beaten track with some easy lanes to try out nearby?   (could go camping or take the “van” if we knew a out of the way campsite and can’t find a cottage)
98 Fourtrak TDL with just mt's fitted (now for sale)
02 Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 Overland (255bhp & 17mpg)!! Cooper STT's OME 2" lift and Winch

This WJ's NOT on the school run!

(Sorry about the spelling)!

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The owners are really nice and the cottage is very well presented. Oh, and it's well priced too!

They even keep marked-up OS maps to help you find the local routes.

I stayed in wales just off the a483 18 miles from new town in a log cabin owned by a pub .Bit basic but it was great for getting around. I will try and find out from my mate where it was and get you a number. We were on sprts bikes but i saw loads of laning going on.
All i can remember it was near llandrindod walls.

Know that lane well, last time there got a small jap jeep up.

I find these cottages about the cheapest, joined a club like yours but keep quite about the laning as the club  full of "antis"

yet i've had no problems often the only member (& guest) staying, some are just not used, dead cheap, well kitted out, brill for winter.
Without a club  2008 - any takers

Thanks for all the suggestions, still can’t find a nice one at the right price and place (around Bala ideally) that’s available when we want to go, may try some B&B’s
