OK guys, Ive just had me shogun nicked, bit gutted and all that, but hopefully there'll be something along to fill its space.
However, Id prefer that the next one don't get lifted.
Anyone got any recommended security devices for a nickable 4x4???

Since I found bits of the lock on the road, I guess the door lock was prized out, Ive seen some work vans with a kinda stainless re-inforcing plate over the door locks to prevent this.......

Anyone got one of those steering wheel clamps, or a pedal security box they would recommend. They always look so damned heavy and awkward, but do they work?

Anyone got an alarm system they love to bits. I had a Toad alarm/immob on the zook that after 5 years, simply NEVER went wrong, despite getting muddy/wet/abused. Anyone got a similar thing they would swear by....

Id prefer not to lose another, and Im sure a lot of us are really a theft waiting to happen..

Rolla
Go on....cut me in half........it says SUZUKI all the way thru the middle!!

Get one of the heavy duty ground anchors which you can concrete in. Concrete it into the driverway somewhere out of the way. Nice big heavy chain and a nice big heavy duty padlock and padlock it round the chassis or onto winch bumper, ect.

Used to do this with the Series III and my trailer, except it was round a very very large oak tree.

My brother has 1 of them disc lock on his corsa & its kat 1 or 2 for insurance & its a havey thing to put on & off! You could put a fuel cut off valve on your next one & could be mounted inside under the seat

I had one on my Discovery, plus on the 110 & 90 before that.

Sadly I sold the 'Large' (110 size) but still have the 'Medium' (Discovery sized) hangin in the garage.

Solid bits of kit.
I got mine from a local Police Station, as the Crime Prevention section were selling them at a good price.
Try your local station for suggestions of good kit?
