The Greyhound Pub - Blandford Forum

The Greyhound is situated a short walk from the main town car park in Blandford Forum.

It offers a good selection of food, and can cater for groups with advanced notice.

Non-tied bar, with Hall & Woodhouse Beers.

Restaurant stops serving food at 9pm some nights, so worth checking if you are going to be late

The Fox Inn - Ansty (Dorchester / Blandford)
« Reply #1 on: December 15, 2004, 23:55:40 »
The Fox inn at Ansty, near Blandford Forum... not far from Dorchester.

B&B, Pub and Restaurant.

Always busy for Sunday lunch and weekend evenings.

Restaurant food is superb, but it's not the cheapest place in the area.  Lots of local produce, all freshly prepared with a good number of Dorset specialities and traditional 'country' recipies as well as a touch of the exotic.

Restaurant is good for a family meal, or a special occasion.  Pub has a nice log fire for that 'proper' pub feel.
