I would like to ask a favour of any member who is in the area of Cannock Chase, Staffs.
The request is to assist a friend of mine who is doing some research into a Battle of Britain dogfight , which resulted in a Luftwaffe JU88 bomber being brought down by two Spitfires. The crew were killed and were later buried at the German Military cemetary at Cannock Chase.
This may sound odd, but would a member in that area be prepared to go to the cemetary and take photographs of the graves and forward them onto me?
It is not meant to sound ghoulish, but is being done for historical research purposes.
