What the Hell!?
« on: July 02, 2007, 15:54:30 »
Just gone to sort out my holiday for next year to make up for the pretty rubbish year we are having :

   Description Quantity Price Total
  FLIGHT PRICE 2 GBP 137.00 GBP 274.00
  AIRPORT TAX & CHARGES 2 GBP 145.00 GBP 290.00

So the tax is more than the damn flights!
£290 leave the UK tax, bet we dont charge immigrants that much? Oh hang on, they get a free ride dont they?

Cheers Tony & Co, looks like having screwed the nuts off us with Tax they make sure we cant escape :evil:

</rant>
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

17% of Southampton's population is now Polish. So assuming the last census was close to accurate, thats about 200,000

There's hundreds of Polish here too, lots work in the sandwich factory.

My mate has a car showroom, he recons the know 2 phrases of english.

"what I get for thousand pounds"

and "what year manufacture".

Not, is it taxed/tested/safe, what colour is it, has it got tyres etc etc.

I used to work with a polish lady at a well known mobile phone company that is also a colour :wink: she was a hard worker and a pleasure to watch too :lol:
