You will need the LT230 transfer box with 1.22:1 ratio, click HERE and then click on "Technical Information" to check which one you have now.

I've got one in the garage and I'm asking £150 for it. It was running perfectly when removed a couple of years ago and I took it out to fit a 1.44:1 ratio unit as I'm running 33" tyres.
Getting it to you is the main problem. Last time I checked it was going to cost about £35 in postage, I'd have thought nearer £40 now.  :(

PM me if you want it, I can't see it going anywhere in the near future.

Have you got any forward and backward motion...... :?:

If you have, it could be that the diff lock has become urbanised and requires lubrication/adjustment.

You can do it but it'll rev like anything on standard size tyres and it'll reduce your top speed as well, it'll suprize a few Chavs at the lights though!!
I got a recon box from Ashcrofts (see the link in my previous post) and got a local LR garage to fit it.
With the larger tyres it takes it back to what it was like driving with the standard ratio.
If the vehicle is going to be mainly for off road then you may be better keeping the standard ratio t-box and going for 4.11:1 ratio diffs. This is because although the t-box will cater for the larger tyres in high-box, the low-box remains the same so it's slightly overgeared and tends to be a bit fast on desents and struggles a wee bit on climbs. Changing the diffs will change the overall ratio in both high & low.

Hello Darren, i think i've cured my transfer Box problem I've freed off the difflock plus the gear selector shaft had seized so i,ve strip & lubricated & know i seem to have difflock with a light that comes on .horray!!!!!!!!!!!
