Rear brake drums vitara

Have just freed the seized brake shoes on my 92 spanish built vitara,ALL NICE AND FREE NOW BUT HOW DO I SET THEM SO THE ADJUSTER WORKS AND HANDBRAKE.IT SAYS TO DRIVE BACK AND FORWARD TO DO THIS    BUT THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS THE ONE IN THE HAYNES MANUAL.CAN ANYONE HELP.THIS IS THE LAST JOB BEFORE IT GOES FOR IT'S MOT.ANY INPUT WOULD BE GRATEFULLY RECIEVED.

howdy mate,

to ajust the hand break you will need a 10 mm spanner mate,

look at the bottom of the hand break towards rear seats,you will see 2 wires going on to a piece or bar,or braket,just do the nut up a bit intill you get about 3 cliks out of it and job done,

tho one thing i will say is some vits have a black center in the mid,you will have to move this first to get to it.2 clips and to cross head ,(well should be) :lol:  :lol:
