Very interesting. Especially the sattelite bit. I didnt realise there were about 900 up there. :)

True, that was an eyeopener!
Nice to know the truth behind 'GoogleEarth' as well (aeriel photos, not satellite)

some of google earth is satelite images, the really low res stuff.

but i didnt know about the americans trashing their own telstar satellite :D that made me giggle

Found it funny, when he went to touch the satalite and got told off.

Then asked to add a bit, and was told he had no chance.
So he played with a box of bolts that are used instead.

I don't believe I've seen any programme before that went up to the 'door to space' (bar the actual NASA footage of the events)

Did anyone else notice that no weeds, or grass, appeared to be growing in the 'Flame Pit'?

Just 35 years between the DH Rapide and the 747  :shock: It's something you just don't think about until it's presented to you!

The technology cetainly advanced somewhat.
Sadly WW2 had a lot to do with it
