It's not a trick question.

Every post shows with a later time - or am I on a different planet?

Is it me? Is it you? Is it both of us?

I'm not sure what time this will post at but I'm just watching the end of Eastenders with SWIMBO.

It is now 21.00 hours I am about to watch True, Dare Kiss on BBC1 so if your clock says its 20.00 then you need to go in your profile and change it to GMT+1 but the clock is still wrong

Depending on the above, we are all 38 minutes ahead of MC Clock or 22 minutes behind MC Clock.

For those of you that are slow its because you haven't taken into account BST and haven't set your profile to GMT +1 for those of us who are fast I have no idea what's wrong    oh and it's 08.30hrs now

Time is of no consequence as it only causes more stress to build up as we rush around trying to keep to it!
I try to ignore it if I can. This medication is good!

Yes I realise that but some people were saying I was an hour and 20 minutes ahead of them or whatever and this is because they havent set their profiles right. I know it doesn't tell us why the forum clock is 20 minutes out
And it 16.18hrs now

But still no explanation as to why ??

Or why some of the pages in jokes and funnies have gone missing either, is it  the gremlins coming out to play?
time now is 22.21 but wonder if it is the right time yet

At a guess, and it is only that as I am not involved in the clever bits of the forum, when it became necessary to change server to deal with severe problems affecting the forum the time was out on the new server - probably not the most important consideration at the time.

Whether it would be easy to reset the time now without risk to the integrity of the database - it might get upset if it sees a load of posts that exist in the future and do something silly.

There are moves afoot to improve the service and reliability of the forum and I would guess that when these come to fruition would be a suitable time to attend to minor glitches.

I'm not aware of any database problems, and noone has posted in the questions forum to alert us to a problem. If stuff is going missing, please let us know.

Of course, occasionally a post may have to be moved out of sight if it does not fit in with the forum guidelines.
